We had a wonderful experience working with Ella for a family photo session in La Jolla. We were visiting from out of town and it easy to set up a time for our session. Ella was very responsive to planning the session with my goal shots. We were a group of 6 - 4 adults and 2 children (ages 3 and 1). Ella was really kind and lovely to work with. Our group actually had fun during the session playing on the beach and enjoying one another! She established great rapport with my 3 year old. We received our gallery in less than one week and absolutely love the images. She captured our whole family so beautifully. When we got the pictures back, my husband texted me "I LOVE THE PICTURES" which is the best response I've seen from him! We would definitely book Ella again if we were local and I encourage others to as well!

We truly could not have asked for a better wedding and engagement photographer than Ella! She is so warm and friendly, which made us immediately feel comfortable and at our best. I was worried that I would feel awkward or my smile would be forced, but Ella totally put us at ease, encouraged us, and reassured us that our photos were beautiful. She has an amazing eye for lighting, composition and how to position people in a way that will look natural in the photo. Ella and I met each other over 15 years ago in St Barth where we often scuba dived together. About 8 years ago we reconnected in Maui where I live now.
